27 January, 2012.
Edward Maya, Live.
At the Nokia India presents Channel [V] Collegefest 2012. Day 1.
Parking Grounds, Baga/Calangute Beach, Goa.

All in all, a decent set. I expected him to surprise me a little with something totally random there, but he stuck to the dose of Euro-House and other commercial tunes to please the crowd. Nothing too experimental there.
A bit of Pitbull and Afrojack, with "Saxobeat" by Alexandra Stan, Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling (That Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night)" [Yes, the necessary feel good tune], Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger",  Rihanna & Calvin Harris' "We Found Love", Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" along with a bit of Akcent, Inna and Play&Win, Stromae's "Housellujah" track, besides his own chart busters - "This Is My Life", "Stereo Love" and "Desert Rain". He also played an unreleased track for the first time here, which seems to sound quite like his previous releases (not straying from a working formula, it seems).

Anyway, the entry was free for all college-goers. The music was good. At the end, the crowd was pleased.
Edward Maya, "veni vidi vici" comes to mind.

Arrivederci,
Audiophile 93.
